What to bring
Immatrikulationsbescheinigung
(confirmation of enrollment)
Two Immatrikulationsbescheinigungen (confirmations of enrollment from your university) are required: One is required for your application, the second one you need to bring with you to Germany as your employer will need this form for your pay slip.
Work clothes
Depending on your job you might be asked to bring work clothes. If you work for a restaurant bring black pants or a skirt, a white shirt and black shoes. When in doubt ask your employer. If you work on a farm be prepared to bring old clothes which can get dirty.
International Student ID (ISIC Card)
The ISIC card, the only internationally accepted proof of full-time student status, can be purchased at www.travelcuts.com for $17.50. This card will help save money on travel, accommodation, and admissions to museums and cultural attractions.
MasterCard or Visa
A credit card can be used for cash withdrawals and is more reliable than bank debit cards.
You will need to have this form filled out by your employer at the end of your work term and send it along with the Evaluation form in order to receive your subsidy.
